Faisant suite à "Regenerator", "Old socks" est un mini-album composé de cinq chansons aux tonalités pop, rock et electro. Y sont évoqués : la condition humaine, la mélancolie, les salopards qui font du mal, la séparation amoureuse, la vacuité d'une existence matérialiste et superficielle. Trois invités ont prêté leurs talents : Madisoncess, sensible et aérienne, dans un "Tant bien que mal" aux accents mélancoliques, Louis Blondin avec son ton badin dans "Quelqu'un de bien" et Sandrine Dumont dont la voix chaleureuse emplit "Why ?".
